Sumit Mallick, born on April 13, 1958, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1982 Maharashtra cadre. A graduate in History, he served in various capacities including Assistant Collector, Additional Collector, District Collector, Divisional Commissioner, and Managing Director. He held key roles such as Secretary, Secretary to Governor, Chief Protocol Officer, and Principal Secretary. His most recent position was Principal Secretary at Mumbai, Maharashtra, within the Chief Minister's Office. Throughout his career, Mallick contributed to the administration of Maharashtra until his retirement.
