Sumit Kumar, born on April 16, 1992, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2019 batch, assigned to the Bihar cadre. He holds a B.Tech in Material Engineering from IIT Kanpur. Currently, he serves as the Project Director of the Bihar Aids Control Society, a position he has held since December 14, 2025. Previously, he was the Deputy Development Commissioner-cum-Chief Executive Officer, DDC. Sumit Kumar continues to be in active service within the Indian Administrative Service.
