Sumit Kumar, born on 15 February 1987, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2014 batch, assigned to the Andhra Pradesh cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from MDU Rohtak. Currently, he serves as the Collector and District Magistrate at Chittoor, a position he has held since 24 June 2024. Proficient in Hindi and Telugu, Sumit Kumar continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
