Currently, he serves as the DLRS at West Bengal since March 7, 2026. Throughout his career, he has held key positions including Municipal Commissioner and District Magistrate & Collector. Proficient in English and Hindi, Sumit Gupta continues to contribute to public administration in his cadre.
