Sumanta Kumar Ghosh, born on 23 December 1962, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2005 batch, West Bengal cadre. During his career, he served in the Public Works Department (PWD). He held the position of Additional Secretary from 2 January 2018 to 31 December 2022. Prior to this, he served as Joint Secretary. His tenure in the IAS reflects his commitment to public administration within West Bengal.
