Sumanta Chaudhuri, born on January 24, 1961, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1985 batch of the West Bengal cadre. He holds a B.Sc. (Hons) and a postgraduate degree in Economics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Secretary, Managing Director, Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary, Joint Secretary, Chief Executive Officer, District Magistrate, and Sub Divisional Officer.
