Suman Kumar, born on April 6, 1949, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1994 batch, Bihar cadre. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector and Magistrate, Director, Secretary, and Joint Development Commissioner. His most recent position was Joint Development Commissioner at Patna, Bihar, in the Rural Development Department from July 25, 2008, to April 30, 2009.
