Suman Billa, born on 24 December 1970, is a 1996 batch IAS officer of the Kerala cadre. He holds an M.A. in English and an M.Phil. in Sino-Burmese Relations. Currently serving as Additional Secretary & Director General in the Department of Tourism, Ministry of Tourism, New Delhi since 19 May 2024, he has held various positions including Principal Secretary, Joint Secretary, Chairman, Secretary, Commissioner, Officer on Special Duty to Minister, District Collector, Director, Private Secretary, and Assistant Collector. He is proficient in English and Telugu and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
