Sukumar Ganai, born on 24 August 1954, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1998 batch, West Bengal cadre. During his career, he served in the Higher Education Department, holding key positions including Additional Secretary from January 1, 2014, to August 31, 2014, and Joint Secretary. His tenure in these roles reflects his involvement in administrative functions within the department. Ganai’s service in the IAS concluded following his retirement.
