Sukumar Bhattacharya, born on January 21, 1952, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1995 batch, West Bengal cadre. He served in various capacities including Under Secretary, Joint Secretary, District Magistrate, and Joint Secretary. His most recent position was Special Secretary in the Health and Family Welfare Department from January 1, 2011, to January 31, 2012. Mr. Bhattacharya holds a graduate degree and contributed to the administrative framework of West Bengal during his tenure.
