Sukhjit Singh Bains, born on 14 February 1957, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2000 batch, Punjab cadre. During his career, he served in the Integrated Rural Development department. His most recent designation was Joint Development Commissioner from 3 August 2016 to 28 February 2017. Prior to this, he held positions including Director & Additional Secretary, Additional Secretary, and Commissioner.
