Sujit Dasgupta, born on March 16, 1952, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1994 batch of the West Bengal cadre. He holds a graduate degree and has served in various capacities including Under Secretary, Additional District Magistrate, District Magistrate, Joint Secretary, and Special Secretary. His most recent position was as a Member of the State Electricity Regulatory Commission from February 1, 2011, to April 30, 2011. Throughout his career, Dasgupta contributed to the administrative framework of West Bengal until his retirement.
