Sudhir Kumar, born on March 6, 1962, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1988 Bihar cadre. A graduate in Civil Engineering, he served in various capacities including Secretary, Divisional Commissioner, Joint Commissioner, Director, Special Secretary, Additional Secretary, District Collector and Magistrate, Joint Secretary, Project Coordinator, Deputy Development Commissioner, Sub-Divisional Officer, and Under Secretary. His most recent role was Secretary at Patna, Bihar, in the Sugarcane Industry Department from January 7, 2013, to March 31, 2022. Throughout his career, he contributed to the administration and development of Bihar state.
