Sudhir Garg, born on 11 February 1964, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1990 Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.E. and M.E. in Mechanical Engineering and an M.B.A. in Finance from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). Over his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector and Magistrate, Chief Executive Officer, Managing Director, Joint Secretary, Commissioner, and Additional Chief Secretary. His most recent designation was Secretary from 30 March 2023 to 29 February 2024. Throughout his tenure, he held multiple senior administrative roles within the Uttar Pradesh government.
