Sudhir Garg, born on 11 February 1964, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1990 Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.E. and M.E. in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA in Finance from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). Over his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector and Magistrate, Chief Development Officer, Joint Secretary, Managing Director, and Principal Secretary to Government. His most recent position was Secretary from 30 March 2023 to 29 February 2024. Throughout his tenure, he held multiple leadership roles across departments, contributing to the administration of Uttar Pradesh.
