Sudesh Kumar Mokhta, born on 30 March 1983, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2010 batch, serving in the Himachal Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. from Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla, and an M.A. from IGNOU, Delhi. Currently, he is the Special Secretary in the Industries Department at Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, a position he has held since 1 August 2025. His previous roles include Managing Director, Director & Special Secretary, Assistant Commissioner & BDO, Assistant Commissioner, and SDO. He is proficient in English and Hindi. Sudesh Kumar Mokhta continues to serve in the IAS.
