Subrata Dutta, born on November 20, 1955, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1998 batch, West Bengal cadre. During his service, he held several key positions, including Adviser, Additional Secretary, and Financial Advisor and Additional Secretary in the Irrigation and Waterways Department. His most recent role was Financial Advisor and Additional Secretary from January 1, 2014, to November 30, 2015. Throughout his career, he contributed to the administration of the West Bengal government until his retirement.
