Subrata Biswas, born on April 13, 1959, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1985 Kerala cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering and a postgraduate degree in Business Administration. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities, including District Collector, Deputy Secretary, Additional Executive Director, and Managing Director. He held multiple secretary-level positions and was Agricultural Production Commissioner and Principal Secretary. His most recent role was Additional Chief Secretary in the Home and Vigilance Department, starting March 30, 2017. Mr. Biswas’s extensive service reflects a broad administrative experience within the Kerala cadre.
