Subir Kumar, an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1998 batch of the Rajasthan cadre, was born on September 6, 1975. He holds a B.E. degree from NIT Jamshedpur. Currently serving as the Principal Secretary at Jaipur in the Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare Department since September 7, 2024, Subir Kumar has held various key positions including Principal Secretary to Government, Secretary, Managing Director, Commissioner, State Mission Director, District Collector and District Magistrate, Director, Registrar, Deputy Secretary, Additional Collector, and SDO. He is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to serve in the IAS.
