Subhasis Maitra, born on December 12, 1957, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1999 batch, West Bengal cadre. During his career, he served in various capacities including Joint Secretary, Secretary, Director, Commissioner, and Additional Secretary. His most recent position was Secretary in the Forest Department from January 1, 2015, to December 31, 2017. Throughout his tenure, Maitra contributed to the administrative functions of the West Bengal cadre until his retirement.
