Subhash Ranjan Biswas, born on October 1, 1955, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1997 batch, West Bengal cadre. During his career, he served in the Department of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution. His most recent designation was Director, a position he held from February 10, 2010, to January 31, 2015. Prior to this, he held the roles of Director and Joint Secretary. Mr. Biswas contributed to various capacities within the department before retiring from service.
