Subhash Chandra Garg, born on 16 October 1960, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 Rajasthan cadre. He held various key positions including Secretary at Rajasthan (26 July 2019 – 31 October 2019) and served in the Department of Power. His extensive career encompassed roles such as Director, Executive Director, Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Principal Secretary, Commissioner (Investment & NRIs), and District Collector and Magistrate. Garg holds degrees in Commerce (B.Com.), Cost Accountancy (ICWAI), and Law (LL.B.). He received several awards including a Merit Certificate, Gold Medal, Silver Medal, and recognition for transforming central grants to states.
