Subesh Kumar Das, born on 28 December 1955, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1982 West Bengal cadre. He holds postgraduate qualifications in Computer Technology, a B.Tech in Radio Physics, and a graduate degree in Physics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Magistrate, Labour Commissioner, Joint Secretary, Secretary, Principal Secretary, and Additional Chief Secretary. His most recent position was Additional Chief Secretary in the Planning Department from 5 June 2014 to 31 December 2015. His extensive experience spans multiple administrative and secretarial roles within the state government.
