Sowjanya, born on 11 October 1978, is a 2003-batch Indian Administrative Service officer of the Uttarakhand cadre. She holds a B.E. in Civil Engineering and an M.A. in Political Science from Pondicherry University. Currently, she serves as Joint Director at Mussoorie, Uttarakhand (since 27 July 2022) under the Department of Personnel and Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions.
