Sonika, born on September 6, 1980, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2010 batch, Uttarakhand cadre. She holds a B.Sc. from Mumbai University and an M.Sc. from IIT Delhi. Currently, she serves as the Commissioner at Uttarakhand in the State Tax (Goods and Service Tax) Department since January 8, 2025. Her previous roles include Additional Secretary, Chief Development Officer, Assistant Collector and ADM, and DM & Collector. Sonika is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to serve in the IAS.
