Sonam, born on October 1, 1995, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2023 batch, assigned to the Punjab cadre. She holds a B.E./B.Tech degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering. Currently, she serves as the Assistant Secretary in the Excise and Taxation Department of Punjab, a position she has held since November 28, 2025. Prior to this role, Sonam worked as a Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM). She continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
