Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Assistant Collector, Project Officer, Under Secretary, District Collector and Magistrate, Additional Commissioner, Commissioner, Joint Secretary, Regional Director, Managing Director, and on Foreign Assignment. He also held senior roles such as Principal Secretary to Government, Special Chief Secretary, and Chief Secretary to Government from 1 January 2020 to 31 March 2020 in the Chief Minister's Secretariat/Staff Officers department.
