Soma Sekhar Apparao Kotaru, born on April 22, 1993, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2021 batch, assigned to the AGMUT cadre. He holds a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from IIT Bombay, Mumbai. Currently, he serves as Secretary at Lakshadweep since June 30, 2025. His departmental responsibilities include Social Welfare and Tribal Affairs, Women and Child Development, Legal Metrology, Printing and Stationaries, and Labour and Employment. Previously, he held the position of Sub Collector. He is actively serving in the IAS.
