Som Parkash, born on April 3, 1949, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1988 batch, Punjab cadre. He served in various capacities including Junior Scale, Assistant Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, Labour Commissioner, Director, Special Secretary, Joint Secretary, Additional CEO, Managing Director, and Chairman. His most recent position was Chief Administrator of the Punjab Urban Planning and Development Authority from March 19, 2007, to April 30, 2009.
