Sobran Singh Yadava, born on January 1, 1947, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1985 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a Graduate degree in Science and a B.E. in Civil Engineering. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Assistant Collector, Joint Secretary, Additional Commissioner, Special Secretary, District Magistrate, Chief Development Officer, Commissioner, and Secretary. His most recent position was Secretary of the Animal Husbandry Department from June 7, 2005, to December 31, 2006. Sobran Singh Yadava’s extensive administrative experience spans multiple senior roles within the Uttar Pradesh government.
