Smrutiranjan Mohanty, born on September 8, 1989, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2015 batch, West Bengal cadre. He holds a Master of Arts in Public Management from JN University, New Delhi. Currently, he serves as Director in the Fisheries Department with additional charge as Managing Director of the State Fisheries Development Corporation since August 16, 2024. His previous roles include Joint Secretary, Officer on Special Duty, Sub Divisional Officer, Assistant Secretary, Assistant Collector, and Executive Magistrate. He continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
