Smita Bharadwaj, born on 16 March 1966, is a 1992 batch Indian Administrative Service officer from the Madhya Pradesh cadre. She holds a graduate degree in Microbiology, a postgraduate degree in Sociology, and a B.Sc. She has served in various capacities including Secretary, Managing Director, Executive Director, Commissioner & Director, District Collector, Deputy Secretary, Additional Secretary, Registrar, Associate Professor, Project Director, and Sub-Divisional Officer. Currently, she is the Chairman of the Board of Secondary Education, Bhopal, a position she assumed on 3 October 2024. She is proficient in English, French, Hindi, and Marathi.
