Currently, he serves as the Commissioner at Tamil Nadu, a position he assumed on 16 October 2023. He is associated with the Corporation of Coimbatore department. Sivaguru Prabakaran M continues to serve in the IAS, contributing to administrative functions within Tamil Nadu.
