Sitaram Janardan Kunte, born on November 3, 1961, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1985 Maharashtra cadre. He holds a graduate degree and a postgraduate degree in Economics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Assistant Collector, Additional Collector, CEO, District Collector, Joint Secretary, Additional Commissioner, Deputy Municipal Commissioner, Additional Municipal Commissioner, Vice Chairman, and Secretary to the Governor. His most recent position was Secretary in the Housing Department of Maharashtra. Mr. Kunte’s extensive administrative experience spans multiple key roles within the state government.
