Sishir Sinha, born on 20 July 1958, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1982 Bihar cadre. A graduate in History, he served in various capacities including District Collector and Magistrate, Deputy Development Commissioner, Additional District Magistrate, Sub-Divisional Officer, Director, Commissioner, Secretary, and Managing Director. His most recent position was Principal Secretary in the Department of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution from 13 February 2012 to 31 July 2018. Throughout his career, he contributed to multiple administrative roles before retiring from service.
