Sishir Sinha, born on 20 July 1958, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1982 Bihar cadre. He holds a graduate degree in History. Over his career, he served in various capacities including Private Secretary, Deputy Development Commissioner, Additional District Magistrate, Sub-Divisional Officer, District Collector and Magistrate, Director, Commissioner, Secretary, Managing Director, and Principal Secretary. His most recent position was Principal Secretary in the Department of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution from 13 February 2012 to 31 July 2018.
