Sindhu B Rupesh, an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2011 batch from the Karnataka cadre, was born on April 7, 1986. She holds a B.E. in Electronics from Visveswaraiah Technological University and an M.A. in Public Policy from IGNOU, New Delhi. Currently, she serves as Director at the Department of Space, Government of India, a position she has held since August 12, 2025. Throughout her career, she has held various roles including Director, Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner Cum District Magistrate, Chief Executive Officer, Deputy Secretary, and Assistant Commissioner. She is proficient in English and Kannada.
