Shyamal Kumar Mukherjee, born on January 24, 1951, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1996 batch, West Bengal cadre. He held various positions including Junior Scale, Additional District Magistrate, District Collector, Director, and was on compulsory wait. His most recent role was Joint Secretary in the Consumer Affairs Department from March 8, 2010, to January 31, 2011.
