Shubhanjan Das, born on November 20, 1976, is a 2005 batch IAS officer of the West Bengal cadre. He holds a B.Tech. degree and is currently serving as Secretary in the Health and Family Welfare Department, Kolkata, since January 1, 2021. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Election Officer, Secretary, Additional Secretary, District Magistrate, Joint Secretary, Joint Secretary to the Chief Minister, Additional District Magistrate, Sub Divisional Officer, and Assistant Collector. He is proficient in Assamese, Bengali, English, and Hindi. Shubhanjan Das continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
