Shubham Gupta, born on November 8, 1993, is a 2019 batch IAS officer of the Maharashtra cadre. He holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Delhi, an M.A. in Public Administration from Jawaharlal Nehru University, and an LL.M. in Civil & Criminal Law from National Law University Delhi. Currently, he serves as the Managing Director of the Western Maharashtra Development Municipal Corporation since April 23, 2025. His previous roles include Assistant Collector and SDO, Assistant Collector & Assistant Magistrate, and Municipal Commissioner. He was awarded the Director's Gold Medal for Excellence in non-Academic Activities during the IAS Professional Course Phase-II.
