Shubha Sarma, born on April 20, 1976, is a 1999 batch IAS officer of the Odisha cadre. She holds a graduate degree from Delhi University, an M.A. from JNU New Delhi, and an M.B.A. from Amity University. Currently, she serves as the Principal Secretary to Government at Odisha in the Water Resources Department since February 6, 2026. Throughout her career, she has held various positions including Principal Secretary HAG+, Commissioner & Secretary, Joint Secretary, and Deputy Secretary. She is proficient in Assamese, English, French, Hindi, and Oriya. Shubha Sarma continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
