Shrivastava, born on March 6, 1936, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 batch, Madhya Pradesh cadre. He holds graduate degrees in English and Law. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Junior Scale, Under Secretary, Municipal Commissioner, Additional Collector, Administrator, and Deputy Secretary. His most recent position was Deputy Secretary in the Women and Child Development Department of Madhya Pradesh from July 1, 1992, to March 1, 1994.
