He holds graduate degrees in Law and Physics, and a postgraduate degree in English. Over his career, he served in various capacities including Junior Scale, Under Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Additional Commissioner, Secretary, Settlement Officer, Project Officer, Additional District Magistrate, Deputy Collector, Sub-Divisional Officer, and Chief Executive Officer. His most recent position was Project Administrator in Madhya Pradesh’s Agriculture and Cooperation Department from August 1989 to June 1991.
