Shivaputara M Jaamdar, born on 20 May 1952, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1980 Karnataka cadre. He holds a graduate degree, postgraduate degree, and PhD in Criminology. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Managing Director, Commissioner, Principal Secretary, Secretary, and Chief Secretary. His most recent position was Principal Secretary in the Home Department from 13 May 2011 to 31 May 2012. Jaamdar’s extensive experience spans roles such as Officer on Special Duty to Minister, Joint Secretary, Deputy Commissioner, and Registrar, reflecting a diverse administrative tenure.
