Shivaputara M Jaamdar, born on 20 May 1952, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1980 Karnataka cadre. He holds a graduate degree, postgraduate qualification, and a PhD in Criminology. Over his career, he served in various capacities including Managing Director, Commissioner, Secretary, and Chief Secretary. His most recent role was Principal Secretary in the Home Department from 13 May 2011 to 31 May 2012. Throughout his service, he held numerous positions such as Officer on Special Duty to Minister, Deputy Commissioner, and Joint Secretary, contributing extensively to administrative functions in Karnataka.
