Shiv Anant Tayal, born on 27 October 1986, is an IAS officer of the 2012 batch from the Chhattisgarh cadre. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering and an M.Tech in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. Currently, he serves as Deputy Secretary at the Senior Executive cadre of the Cabinet Secretariat, a position he has held since 19 February 2024. Proficient in English and Hindi, Shiv Anant Tayal continues to contribute to the administrative framework of the government. He remains in active service.
