Shilpa Shinde, born on June 19, 1978, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2006 batch, AGMUT cadre. She holds a B.E. in Computer Science from Gulbarga University. Currently, she serves as the Chairperson and Managing Director of Water and Power Consultancy Services (WAPCOS Limited) since September 14, 2025. Throughout her career, she has held various positions including Managing Director, Commissioner & Secretary, Chief Executive Officer, Director, District Magistrate, Deputy Secretary, Special Officer, and Secretary. She is proficient in English and Kannada and continues to serve in the IAS.
