Shekhar Singh, born on 28 October 1986, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2012 batch, Maharashtra cadre. He holds a B.Tech. in Civil Engineering from IIT Guwahati and an M.Sc. in Environmental Science from the University of California, Berkeley. Currently, he serves as the Commissioner at Nashik, Maharashtra, in the Kumbh Mela department since 7 October 2025. Previously, he held the position of Municipal Commissioner. Singh is proficient in English, Hindi, and Marathi and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
