Shekhar Kumar Chaudhary, born on January 29, 1986, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2018 batch, assigned to the West Bengal cadre. He holds an M.Tech. in Communication from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, a B.Sc. (Hons) in Physics, and a B.Tech. in Radio Physics from the University of Calcutta. Currently, he serves as the Additional District Magistrate (ADM) at Howrah, West Bengal, a position he has held since October 27, 2025. His previous roles include IAS Probationer and Additional District Magistrate. He is actively serving in the Indian Administrative Service.
