Shashi Ranjan Kumar, born on 04/12/1968, is a 1992 batch IAS officer of the Tripura cadre. He holds a B.Tech. degree in Electrical Engineering. Currently, he serves as Additional Secretary at the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) in New Delhi since 11/08/2025. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Secretary, Additional Secretary & F A, Joint Secretary, Director, Deputy Secretary, Additional Commissioner, District Collector and District Magistrate, Administrator, Managing Director, Project Director, Sub Divisional Officer, and Assistant Collector. He is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to be in service.
