Shashi Prakash Goyal, born on 20 January 1967, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1989 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Mathematics and a PG Diploma in Computer Application from IGNOU, New Delhi. Throughout his career, he has served in various capacities including Additional Resident Commissioner, Chief Development Officer, Assistant Magistrate, Principal Secretary, Joint Secretary, Project Director, Staff Officer, District Magistrate, Secretary Director, District Collector and Magistrate, Chief Officer, Chief Secretary, and Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister. Currently, he is on medical leave since 14 September 2025. He is proficient in English and Hindi.
