Shashi Misra, born on August 10, 1945, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1968 batch, Maharashtra cadre. She holds a graduate degree in English and a postgraduate degree in History. Throughout her career, she served in various capacities including Assistant Collector, Additional Collector, Deputy Secretary, Joint Secretary, Secretary, Managing Director, Executive Director, Director General, and Additional Secretary. Her most recent position was Additional Secretary at Maharashtra in the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare. Misra's extensive service reflects a diverse administrative experience within the Indian government.
