Shashanka Ala, born on November 10, 1988, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2014 batch, serving in the A G M U T cadre. She holds a Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering and an M.Tech. in Microelectronics and VLSI from IIT Madras. Currently, she is the Administrative Secretary at Ladakh since March 2, 2026. Her departmental experience includes Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Information Technology, and Social and Tribal Welfare. Fluent in English and Telugu, Shashanka Ala continues to contribute to public administration in her ongoing service.
